SMB Filling - Specials:
- Vacuum and humidity measurement prior to the filling process
In some cases it is necessary to dry the receptacle and to execute a humidity measurement after the cleaning process. This special procedure with hot air or nitrogen, which measures the humidity in the controlled exhaust fume-stream of each individual receptacle, was developed by SMB Filling. - Reduction of oxygen before sealing
In order to remove the remaining oxygen from the receptacle, nitrogen is blown into it over a bubble cap. After the nitrogen is introduced in an exactly defined way into the receptacle, we seal the receptacle with a foil, usually fully automatic. This technically high quality procedure was also developed by SMB Filling. - Automatic change of filling devices
The automatic change of filling-lances was developed by SMB engineers with the inspiration of the most modern technology. While the changing processes, 2-3 different lances per filling place are kept available and then steered pneumatically into the filling system, where the filling process is then started. Within this technology SMB Filling’s newly developed “filling device fast clinch cap technology” is also used.

Detergents, acids, lyes, food-oil or colors: Liquids and powdery bulk material must be filled. No matter with which of SMB Filling’s filling systems this task is solved, always it is about highest performance.
Our filling systems are suitable also for filling procedures of food and for the use in cleanrooms; they comply with the requests of GMP and FDA. Fully enclosed installations with positioning and gas aspiration systems provide extremely high operational safety. Even in areas with potentially explosive atmosphere, the filling systems of SMB Filling can therefore always be used safely.
The filling devices, filling valves and conveying technology - all additional components of your system are also planned, designed and produced in Quickborn by SMB Filling. Only this way we can fit your filling installation millimeter-exact to the measurements of the local conditions.

Our filling systems are extremely tough and robust. We use welded steel frameworks, which proved themselves very well with the long-term stress these installations face. The compact smartly thought-through and approved filling system of SMB Filling is supplemented by additional systems such as automatic palletizing, ink-jet marking and labeling, drum and palette transportation as well as storage systems.
