Silo-Flo: aeration pads for fluidization of bulk materials
Approved principle:
The Silo-Flo pads are used for fluidization of fine-grained bulk materials and powders. This big blaster increases the flow qualities of the material, by blowing air into the silo with low pressure (0.2 bar). The quantity of air is distributed equally; the product in the area of the Silo-Flo pads is fluidized and loosened up. The material can therefore be dragged out easily.
Depending on the length of the funnel wall, single or multiple Silo-Flo pads per row are necessary. The suggested distance from one installation hole to the next varies between 30 – 40 cm for the small type (SF1), and about 50 - 60 cm for the large type (SF2). In order to obtain excellent results, at least 4 rows (cross over) should be intended in silos or other containers with discharge-cones.
